Zest Collective, Dance Project of Washington Heights, and Higher Ground Festival NYC

During its early years in New York City, Zest Collective collaborated with the Dance Project of Washington Heights (DPWH), a tuition-free dance program for youth, where founder Gentry Isaiah George served as Dance Ensemble Leader. Each summer, new works were created and presented as part of the Higher Ground Festival, a platform dedicated to collaborative premieres by artists living in Northern Manhattan.
